Drone Filming Services in New York City
Lyfted Media’s founder, Jimmy Olivero, was born and raised in New York City. He was flying camera drones for Hollywood and major TV networks long before there was a drone craze, and NYC is still one of our core operating areas. We provide aerial cinematography for film and television productions, cinematic FPV, commercial real estate, and live events across the five boroughs.
What We Do in New York City
Aerial cinematography for film and TV. Creative, production-ready aerial footage for features, series, commercials, and documentaries. Our credits include work for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, NBC Nightly News, Sony Pictures, and Madison Square Garden.
Cinematic FPV. First-person-view flying that puts the camera inside the action: chase sequences, flythroughs, and one-take shots that traditional drones can’t pull off.
Commercial real estate. Aerial photography and video for Manhattan developments, Brooklyn waterfront properties, and commercial listings.
Events. Concerts, sporting events, and corporate gatherings. Our Aerial UltraLight Orbs can fly safely indoors over audiences where traditional drones can’t.
NYC Airspace, Handled
New York City sits under some of the most complex controlled airspace in the country. We handle FAA authorizations, LAANC approvals, and coordination with production teams on every flight. No flight is too technical and no payload is too complex.
